In October two managing partners of Novadvice went to Mexico City for a four days trip to participate in several working sessions related to due diligence of some deals in progress.
Marc Michiels and Maria Pardo attend meetings to get a comprehensive market overview from decision-makers like leading entrepreneurial families representatives, heads of most prominent Investment banks and top business lawyers. All those meetings confirmed Novadvice's assessment on Mexico business opportunities related to nearshoring. They also met key people related to deals under review like Frontera, Carrera and Polar introduced and managed by Enrique Lanza, CEO and founder of our local partner, Marea Group. Finally, they went through the success story of Lotus (Education platform) with the person that made a 20x MOIC and 80% IRR for the last 9 years.
